A Visit to remember !!

A real Gem !!

We stayed in Laem Sing for a week after selecting the village from a map with no real knowledge of what we would find except for some detail that said it was quiet and untouched by tourism.
It was that and more. A great place to visit, lovely people, good food and a real change from most Thailand tourist spots. Our Thai friends who traveled with us had never heard of the place and also fell in love with it.
We stayed at Napoleon Village which was great and we can recommend James and Pat at the Marine Cafe for a fantastic meal.

laid back laem sing

be lazy at your leisure

I have visited laem sing 4 times now, the first time in february 2007, then revisted 3 times from november2007 till january 2008. I love the place so much. It has everything you need for a really lazy holiday. If you want to chill out its the ideal place. Wonderful beach, fishing trips, dolphin park, great beachside restaraunts, fabulous local people, and even a monkey "island" complete with nice restaraunts, great beach etc. I went there with my thai fiance, and her son aged 13. we stayed in the hotel Siri, owned by a lovely man Mr Moy. The hotel is very basic, but nice and clean. They dont do breakfasts, but allow you the use of there kitchen so you can buy produce locally, and cook your own. Everything you need is available here, all you have to do is ask Mr moy, or any of his staff. I cant praise them enough. words cannot express the wonderful stays I had here. You want to hire a fishing boat to take you to a deserted island!!! just ask and you will get one, and it wont cost you megga bucks. You want an ice cold beer or soft drink, help yourself from the fridge!! motor bike!! again just ask.of course I will visit again just as soon as its possible!! would highly reccomend the Siri to anybody who wants to relax and take it easy... James from birmingham uk, and my gorgeous thai soon to be wife patcharavadde (pat) and her son geraint.

Destination Laem Sing beach, Chanthaburi

You might stay longer than you planned!

If its your first visit to Thailand, then you will probably be planning to go to the usual destinations. My advice would be to get all that done first, see some of the busy places and do all the shopping you want to do. After you've done that come to laem sing and you will apprieciate why people are loving it here.

It's like being in Thailand 20 years ago. Unspoilt and natural. The beaches are almost empty, there are absolutely no walking salesman trying to sell you rugs and souvenirs. There is no seedy nightlife scene. The people are really friendly and genuine. The restaurants are all at cheap Thai prices, and really fresh seafood is the local speciality.

If you are bringing your children, then you will be able to relax and watch them play on the beach from one of the many restaurants. You wont have to worry about losing them in a crowd of other tourists.

There are a good choice of resorts and bungalows to choose from. Most of them are already on Laemsing.com so I won't go into that.

There are a lot of things to do, look at the acivities page for some ideas. It's not easy to find much on Google or the internet about the area. Swimming with dolphins is the most popular activity, but there are some really beautiful water falls, temples, and many interesting places that not many travellers know about.

I Love Laem Sing!

Thailand's best kept secret

I visited Laem Sing for one night in 2006 and stayed for two weeks!

Love the place and love the people - we've been back several times since.

The great thing about Laem Sing is that there's no rush to do anything, and all day to do it. Watch out for the Nitnoi at Siri Hotel!

Hi to Everyone!

Hope to see you in Laem Sing

I am from England and this is my third visit to Leam Sing. Please allow me to share some of my experiences here with you in the hope that they may help to enrich your stay.

My favourite restaurant by far is Guays. From the Siri Hotel head right and follow the path to the beach, it is the first restaurant on the right, delicious fresh seafood and great value!
